House Côte d’Ivoire is the home of an Ivorian client.
The site is located near the coast and has an area of 500 m2, making for a favorable environment.
Because of a strong request for consideration for security, we created a flow line that enters the residence directly from the garage and surrounded the site with a high wall.
This can easily close off the first floor, so we planned for the living room to continue from the pool in the garden and made the garden visible through glass partitions, so that sight lines penetrate through from the entrance hall as well.
Then, we arranged the second-floor living room to look out over the garden with the pool.
We have also provided a wide, large balcony with excellent sun exposure on the second floor.
Given this blessed environment around the site, and also because of the client’s requests, we made a flat roof so that it could be used for parties and the like.
As Côte d’Ivoire enjoys a warm climate all year round, we decided on a plan that uses a lot of glass, which resulted in an attractive residence with refreshing sight lines, overflowing with light and filled with a sense of playfulness.
