MODEL HAMADAYAMA

This is a model house for Morizou Co., Ltd., a company with its prime focus on highly functional houses made with natural materials, developed in cooperation on the theme of the ultimate housing in demand in the urban districts.
Instead of pursuing the showiness of conventional model houses, we aimed for a comfortable “urban resort” in the midst of densely populated area to be built on an actual site near the housing exhibition.
We did not forget to subsume the fun into the house, namely the courtyard delivering light to every part of the house, observation deck bringing the sky closer to home while protecting privacy, the combined living room, dining and kitchen achieving spatial continuity for smooth interfamilial communication, hideout-like study for private time while feeling the presence of other family members and workroom dedicated to the wife.
Along with such playfulness, we have also pursued the convenience in everyday life.
The design which focuses on migration of inhabitants curtail unnecessary movements of housework and daily activities and achieves a lifestyle free of stress.
